With the portraits SUSI POP take up the tradition of commissioned paintings. The pictures, both individual or group portraits, are usually modelied on masterpieces of art history or stills from cinema classics.           Basic for the portraits are photos, which are screen-printed onto a canvas previously enhanced with painting techniques.           Technically, the process is a photography, printing and painting.           The production process of a portrait is as follows:           A photography is taken of the person to be portrayed.           After a view days the customer will receive a selection of drafts and may thus participate in the creation of the final version of his or her picture. This rules out unpleasant surprises.           The first half of the purchase price is payable upon commision, the remaining amount upon delivery of the picture, four to six weeks later.           Delivery costs will be borne by the customer.
